Aisling Bea
Aisling B a is born on on 16 March, 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She appeared with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Claiodhnadh or Aisling "Bea", is a famous Irish writer and actor. Born on the 16th of March 1984. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011after having appeared in bits in several Irish TV shows as well as British series from 2009. Bea began performing often on sketch comedy and sitcoms later in the year. In 2012, after winning an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on numerous panel shows for which she was a frequent guest. She was a captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016-2017 and is regularly a contestant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the child of Brian O'Sullivan as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. She was in 2012 the second woman to ever win the So You think You're Funny award. Bea the name she was given as her maiden name, was a tribute to her dad who died in the year 2000. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who died by suicide when she was just three years old. But, she didn't discover the reason of death until 13 years later. She chose the stage name Bea to pay tribute to her late father. She also wrote an article for The Guardian on her family's death experience. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were raised within the home of Helen Moloney, who was a school teacher and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. The family was in love with racing and horses. Bea was a guide at The Irish National Stud in her young teens. But she was aware that it wasn't what she wanted to be for a living and that she was more interested in performing.
